The House In The Walkthrough

The house Rocsii walks through is at 246 East 69th Street, in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles in the 90003 ZIP code. It is the womens house, and it is one of three Wellness Housing houses in South Los Angeles. Metro bus stops on San Pedro Street are about a tenth of a mile from the front door. What Renting A Bed Here Means

What is rented is one bed in a shared bedroom, to one adult. Every room is shared. The choice is a bunk bed or a single bed in a shared room, and power, water and gas are included in both. There is no credit check, no security deposit and no lease to sign, and there is a $50 registration fee. What a room costs at every house is set out in full.

The house has a live in manager, professional cleaners working the common areas daily, and camera monitoring across the common areas and the perimeter. The kitchen and the laundry are shared, the bedrooms are furnished before anybody arrives, and the house rules go out in writing before a move in rather than after it.
